INTERVIEW COACH CERTIFICATION TRAINING

You can start this program at your convenience and work your way through on your own schedule!

Each step of the process will be supervised by me – Carole Martin – The Interview Coach.

We will meet in a “conference room” and role-play, or I will observe your work with a client and listen and critique.

From time-to-time I will hold teleconferences which you may attend or listen to via podcast.

You will have some “homework” assignments to complete so that I can get a sense of your comprehension through your answers.

The program will consist of Three Main Parts.

You will read through and listen to all of the materials sent to you in “The Interview Coaching System.”

You will complete your self-paced training program to become Certified – a qualified Interview Coach – 6 weeks – not necessarily consecutive. Personal feedback and critique will be an integral part of the training.

You will become a team member and will be sent clients to work with in either your area of “expertise/nice” or your geographical area. You will be paid 75% of the fee --- via PayPal. You will then be responsible for the coaching of the clients.

THE TRAINING PROCESS –

6 weeks of active coaching and training.

After a potential coach receives the material and goes through the materials (per my instructions – yet to be written) they will go through a 6 weeks training with me.

This is in addition to the one hour of coaching that is included in the materials.

Week one
We will role-play a mock interview with the new coach as the candidate and me as the interviewer. This session will be recorded and a link sent to the coach. (one hour)

Preparation will include – sending a job description and a resume to the coach and being prepared to interview for the job as the candidate. Identify the key factors of the position and send those factors to the coach.

Week two
We will role-play a mock interview with the new coach as the interviewer and me as the candidate. This session will be recorded and a link sent to the coach. (one hour)

Preparation will include – identifying the factors of the job you have chosen and writing questions from the interviewer point of view. You will send these questions to the coach so that she can be prepared to answer the questions as the candidate.

Week three
We will role-play a mock interview with the new coach as the coach and me as the candidate. This session will last one hour and will be recorded and a link sent to the coach. (one hour)

Preparation – Review the resume and job description and listen to an interview between two people with the goal of coaching the candidate on his/her skills and abilities – how to improve their performance.

Week four
The new coach and I will work together coaching a client. This session will be recorded for review and learning. (90 minutes – 30 minutes critique and discussion)

Preparation – Review the resume and job description of the person being coached and preparing to give critique as to the answers and performance of the candidate.

Week five
The new coach will coach a client and I will observe – assisting if needed. This session will be recorded, reviewed, and critiqued by me (90 minutes – 30 minutes of critique and discussion)

Preparation – Review the resume and job description of the person being coached. Be prepared to give straight-forward feedback regarding the person’s answers and communication style. Rate the client’s performance as well as your performance as a coach. You will receive feedback as to your job as a coach.

Week six
The new coach will coach a client solo. This session will be recorded and a link sent to me for review. (one hour – plus 30 minutes phone session with me to listen to feedback on the session.)

Take full charge of interacting with the client and receiving the resume and job description – setting up the appointment and coordinating the “mock interview” session. Use your skills as acquired to be an Interview Coach to help the client through the process. Receive and review feedback by the coach of your performance.

If needed further training and feedback will be available.

After the Training and the Certification

Once the new coach is trained he or she will be welcomed to the team.

They will be added to a list of Interview Coaches and their “niche” and/or geographic location will be noted and tracked.

As the need occurs clients will be referred to these coaches for screening. If the coach accepts the client –the client will pay The Interview Coach Company directly.

The coach will be paid 75% of the fee collected on any coaching – and 25 % will be retained by the Interview Coach Company.

(We will provide interview coaching clients based on coaches’ areas of expertise depending on the flow of prospects.

Weekly Check-In

I will also make appointments available on a designated day of the week for 15 minute individual coaching calls by team members to deal with any problems or questions.

Monthly Training Calls

We will have Monthly Group Training and Complimentary Access to New Interview Coaching Products and Programs.

After the First Year

After the first year of your certification there will be an annual fee charge to stay on the team. ($500)
